Riitta Laitasalo appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors in Leijona Caterin
Riitta Laitasalo, 59, Master of Science (Economics and Business Administration), was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors in Leijona Catering as of 18 December 2014. Laitasalo has long and extensive experience in retail trade in Finland. Since the 1980s, she has served in management roles at Kesko Group, most recently as Director of Personnel Management and member of the management group. She resigned from the company last year.
"I am very happy with Laitsalo's appointment as she will bring strong expertise to Leijona Catering's board as regards personnel catering and related services. In her role as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Laitasalo will bring necessary expertise to the company currently in transition," says Sirpa Paatero, minister responsible for ownership steering.
Soili Suonoja, who earlier served as Chairman of the Board of Directors, left her position this autumn.
