Government adopted plan for analysis, assessment and research in support of decision-making

On Thursday 22 September, the Government adopted a decision on the 2017 plan for analysis, assessment and research in support of decision making by the Government.

It consists of eight categories and selected analysis, assessment and research themes for each category and data needs that will be specified at a later date:

1. Employment and competitiveness
2. Knowledge and education
3. Wellbeing and health
4. Bioeconomy and clean solutions
5. Digitalisation, experimentation and deregulation
6. Structural reforms
7. Government linchpin projects
8. Other information needs

The Prime Minister's Office and the designated ministries for the different themes are responsible for implementing the plan in collaboration with the Government working group for the coordination of research, foresight and assessment activities. The selection criteria for the commissioned study include relevance, effectiveness, usability, quality and feasibility.  

The studies and research projects will be put out to open tender. Information on the application processes will be announced later.
