Document management and registry services
The Information Management Unit of the Prime Minister's Office is responsible for the document and archives management, registry services and related information and customer services of all ministries.
The Unit has six groups with offices in various ministries. The personnel of each group is primarily charged with the document services of the ministries belonging to the group.
The Unit handles registration of matters and documents received by ministries, transferring them to responsible officials and archiving the documents. The personnel is also responsible for project data management (HARE project register) and EU information services and distribution of EU documents (EUTORI system). The Unit is also charged with the planning, steering, development, training and coordination of ministries' document management and with archive services and information services to realise good practice on information management.
