The Prime Minister’s Office supports the Prime Minister and the Government in the planning of the Government functions and related decision-making.
The Prime Minister's Office is one of the twelve ministries that form the Finnish Government. It is responsible for the planning of social policy legislation that does not fall within the competence of any other ministry.

Chaired by the Prime Minister, the Economic Council of Finland is a body for facilitating co-operation between the Government, the Bank of Finland and major interest groups.
Finnish Council of Regulatory Impact Analysis »
Based on Prime Minister Juha Sipilä's Government Programme, an independent Council of Regulatory Impact Analysis was established at the Prime Minister's Office. The Council is responsible for issuing statements on government proposals and on their regulatory impact assessments.
