Seminar to mark the 70th anniversary of the Winter War

The Government will hold a seminar to mark the 70th anniversary of the Winter War on Saturday 13 March, the date the war ended. President of the Republic Tarja Halonen will open the seminar and Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen will present the closing remarks. The event will be broadcast live from the House of the Estates in Helsinki on YLE TV1 starting at 11.00 and can also be viewed at the YLE Areena website.
