Prime Minister Marin to speak with EU leaders
Prime Minister Sanna Marin will attend a video meeting of EU leaders on Friday 18 June.
The purpose of the meeting is to prepare for the European Council meeting taking place in Brussels on 24 and 25 June, where the EU leaders will discuss COVID-19, economic recovery, migration and external relations, including with Turkey and Russia. A Euro Summit will also be held on 25 June.
Today’s small group session, convened by President of the European Council Charles Michel, will also be attended by the Prime Ministers of Hungary, Croatia, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. President Michel is organising similar meetings for other groups of countries.
