Iiris Niinikoski appointed Special Adviser to the Prime Minister

Special Adviser Iiris Niinikoski

Prime Minister Sanna Marin has invited Iiris Niinikoski to serve as her Special Adviser. Niinikoski, who holds a master’s degree in education, will be responsible for domestic policy and for institutional relations between the Government and Parliament. She will take up her duties on 10 October 2022.

Niinikoski comes to the position from her previous post as Special Adviser to Minister of Employment Tuula Haatainen in communications and media relations, which she has held since August 2021.

Niinikoski has previously worked in communications and public relations at the National Union of University Students, OP Group and the communications firm Tekir.
