Prime Minister Rinne to Budapest

On Monday 30 September, Prime Minister Antti Rinne will meet the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán in Budapest. This is the first bilateral meeting between the two Prime Ministers.

Prime Minister Rinne and Prime Minister Orbán will discuss topical EU affairs, including the next Multiannual Financial Framework of the EU for 2021–2027, the rule of law, and climate change mitigation. Also on the agenda are migration, EU enlargement, UK’s withdrawal from the EU (Brexit), and boosting trade relations between Finland and Hungary.
