Prime Minister Marin to discuss COVID-19 pandemic with other EU leaders

On Thursday 29 October, Prime Minister Sanna Marin will attend a videoconference of the members of the European Council on the issue of the COVID-19 pandemic. The EU Member States aim to intensify their joint efforts to combat the pandemic.

Joint measures were also widely discussed at the European Council meeting on 15 October. At that time, the EU leaders stated that progress must be made in coordinating measures to combat COVID-19. The meeting also highlighted the need for active, in-depth discussion on the situation at the level of Heads of State and Government.
