Antton Rönnholm and Emilia Tervonen appointed as Special Advisers to the Minister for European Affairs

Minister for European Affairs Tytti Tuppurainen has appointed Antton Rönnholm and Emilia Tervonen as her Special Advisers, starting on 8 July 2019.

Antton Rönnholm, Party Secretary of the Social Democratic Party, will serve as the Special Adviser to the Minister for European Affairs during Finland’s Presidency of the Council of the EU, i.e. until the end of 2019. He will advise the minister in matters such as those concerning the multiannual financial framework of the EU (MFF). Rönnholm has worked a total of six years in Brussels, including as a researcher and completing European studies in Belgium.

Tervonen serves as Special Adviser to the Minister for European Affairs responsible for communications. She has worked in communication tasks in the Social Democratic Parliamentary Group since 2013, for the last six months as Acting Communications Manager. Tervonen has the Master of Arts degree.

The third Special Adviser to the Minister for European Affairs is Matti Niemi who started in his post in June.
