Minister of Economic Affairs Mika Lintilä’s press release related to Finnair

Mika Lintilä, minister responsible for ownership steering stated:

- Having received reports from the Ownership Steering Department of the Prime Minister’s Office and from Finnair’s Board of Directors on the phases involving the supplementary pension decision for Finnair’s CEO, it has to be said that they are mutually conflicting. I have therefore decided to hold a meeting with the Jouko Karvinen, Chair of Finnair’s Board of Directors, Eero Heliövaara, Director General of the Government Ownership Steering Department and Jussi Itävuori, Chair of the Remuneration Committee to go through this matter together. We will convene at a time that is convenient for all parties and as swiftly as possible.
