Prime Minister Sipilä to visit the European Parliament

Prime Minister Juha Sipilä will speak at the European Parliament Plenary Session in Brussels on Thursday 31 January. Sipilä’s address is one in the series of speeches where the EU Heads of State or Government present their views on the future of the EU before the European Parliament. The Parliament launched the series of talks after the Heads of State or Government of the Member States decided to intensify the discussion on Europe’s future in view of the challenges faced by the EU.

Prime Minister Sipilä’s speech is scheduled to start on Thursday 31 January at 10.00 Finnish time. View the live webcast on the European Parliament website.

During the visit to the Parliament Prime Minister Sipilä will also meet the President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani.
