Prime Minister Sipilä to attend informal meeting of the European Council

Prime Minister Juha Sipilä will attend the Informal Summit of EU Heads of State or Government in Salzburg, Austria on 19–20 September. On Wednesday 19 September, the heads of state or government will gather for a dinner hosted by Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz to discuss EU measures to manage migration flows. On Thursday 20 September, the plenary of the heads of state or government will focus on the EU's internal security. After the plenary, the current status of the UK's exit from the European Union will be discussed at a working lunch.
