Citizens’ Pulse: Finland's measures at the eastern border receive strong support; over half of respondents say they would restrict the right to apply for asylum
Respondents to the December Citizens' Pulse survey said the measures Finland has taken at the border with Russia have strengthened their sense of security and Finland's response to Russia's efforts to exert influence has been sufficient and timely.
Citizens’ Pulse: Just over half of low-income earners now confident about the future
Trust in the future among young people and people with low incomes has seen a clear decline this autumn compared to the earlier part of the year. According to the Citizens’ Pulse survey conducted by the Prime Minister's Office, this decline has been more pronounced among women than among men.
Citizens’ Pulse: Experiences of fairness in society and trust in many institutions has deteriorated
Experiences of fairness in society have declined to their lowest level since spring 2020 in the Citizens’ Pulse survey conducted in September. Currently, 64 per cent of the respondents consider society to be at least somewhat fair, compared with 75 per cent in June.
