Ministry of Social Affairs and Health in Tampere moves to Technopolis Asemakeskus

People working at the Tampere office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health are moving to a new building and activity-based work environment in Asemakeskus during August 2020. Work at the new premises will start on 24 August.

The new building is at the very heart of Tampere close to the railway station in premises leased from Technopolis. 

The address is Peltokatu 26, FI-33100 Tampere.

Hippostalo, where the Tampere office has been located so far, will be demolished in 2021.

At the Tampere office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health there are now 32 persons working at the Department for Work and Gender Equality and a few persons working at the Department for Steering of Healthcare and Social Welfare, Department for Insurance and Social Security, Department for Communities and Functional Capacity and Communications Unit. One person working at the Prime Minister’s Office is also placed in Tampere.
