656/2020
We have been informed that Prime Minister Marin was in the same room as a Member of Parliament who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the joint hearing of the Grand Committee and the Cabinet Foreign Affairs Committee, as well as elsewhere on Parliament premises.
For this reason, the Prime Minister has left the European Council meeting today and has asked Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven to represent Finland for the remainder of the meeting.
The Prime Minister will immediately return to Finland, where she will be tested for COVID-19. She will then begin self-isolating at Kesäranta.
