Prime Minister Stubb's statement on the boat disaster in the Mediterranean

Prime Minister Stubb has expressed his shock and deep condolences following the migrant boat disaster that took place in the Mediterranean Sea on Sunday 19 April.

"It is not only an immense human tragedy but also a serious challenge for the whole of Europe", Stubb said. Stubb commends EU High Representative Federica Mogherini's decision to put the issue of migration on the agenda of the EU's foreign and interior ministers' meeting today.
